Ramasinhji I was the son of the Founder of Princely State of Muli – Laghdhirsinhji I and became the 2nd HH Thakore Saheb of Muli after his father. He built the famous Stepwell and named it after his daughter, Raatba. The Stepwell is called Raatba-ni-Vaav and even today is a major attraction for travellers from all over the world. The Stepwell goes 7 levels down and is a fine example of traditional architecture and the capabilities of the Rulers of Muli almost 800 years back.
